Definitely straight

Do you remember, when you were kids, and you's spend all Christmas Day playing with your new toys? Well, my mom gave me a flat iron for Christmas, so that's the experience I had this year. I've had one before, but it didn't work properly, while this one is great. So I spend most of the 25th just being amazed at my straight hair - and when you've had curls as long as you can remember, this is a very big deal!

We found that, three days before Christmas, it was slim pickings at the cinemaes, but we both thought that this film looked fun.

It WAS fun - for the first half hour or so. Robert Downey Jr. (who I can't hate, even though he's a drug addict) was doing the narrating in that style, where you get to cut in on the story. I liked that; it was a bit challenging to the way you normally just take in everything the movie tells you. But then it seemed like they forgot all about the narration and started focusing on being an action film - an that's where they loose me.

I guess I realised I wasn't that keen on the movie when I discovered that I was mixing the two dead girls up and had totally missed the point of why they had been killed.

It was okay, but no big whoop. Now I'm just looking forward to watching "Narnia".

It's 8am and Mads is outside shovelling snow. More is supposed to be coming, apparently this part of the country aint seen nothin' yet.

I'm off work today, thank God. Had a minor incident last night, where I had one of my lovely headaches - the ones that normally end in quite a bit of puking - and didn't ask to go home from work, but instead ended up staying though I was feeling shit, missing my bus and almost puking on the one I finally got on. So when I got home at 9pm, I was cold and miserable and went straight to bed. This is why I am up at 8am on my day off :-)

I hope you all had a happy Christmas - mine was very short; I barely got into the Christmas mood, before it was over. But still, it was nice with some time off. And so, reading for the next exam starts...

1 year on...

- and I'm still with my lovely boyfriend :-D Yes, today is our 1 year anniversary, which is a whole new experience to me ;-)

We - quite succesfully - exchanged present, went to see "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" and had dinner at La Pampa, which is an Italian steak house. I wore a skirt and did my best at being a lady all night, which failed a bit when I ate way to much at La Pampa, but I still got to be a bit girlish and hold Mads' hand at the table :-)

And not to get too sentimental, but yeah, I do feel lucky that pure coincidence brought Mads and I together. I mean, how amazing is it to find someone who wants me for me, and will actually live and deal with all of me!! Nobody's perfect, but I'm close to believing that he's perfect for me - well, at least I know that I wouldn't want to be with anyone else.

Christmas spirit coming my way :-)

I know, I haven't been very active this month, but December has been really hectic with work every weekend, Christmas shopping and an exam coming up.

But now I can feel the Christmas calm filling me :-) I only need to buy two small things to be done with the presents, this weekend I will only be working Sunday (and partying Thursday and Friday) and tomorrow morning at 10am, this months exam will be over, and I won't start cramming for the next one till January.

Ahhhh :-D

Oh yeah, and today, it's been exactly one year since I walked into a car part warehouse in Egå and for the first time laid eyes on Mads - which means that in a week, we have our 1 year anniversary ... at least according to the official version :D

The creative genius...

...that is me ;) After spending all day at work doing Christmas decorations (YES, it is part of the job), I felt inspired and for the first time in years, I went home and did one of my own. Thought you should all be blessed with a picture of it :D
